Unitus.com is a website that articulates our strategy and provides information on our microfinance partners and microfinance activities around the world. Unitus.com also features an online fundraising section where individuals can make secure online donations to Unitus, Inc. and a Solutions Web Services section where microfinance institutions can access certain services and tools.

2. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information
Our Site collects personal information submitted to us by our users, such as names, postal addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, and other information, that can identify users personally. If you make any payments for any services or products through the Site, you will do so through a third party payment processing services provider, and such third party provider will collect personal information from you, including, without limitation, credit card and other sensitive personal information. We are not responsible for, and this Policy does not govern, the collection or use of your personal information collected by such third party provider.

b. Non-Personal Information
Unitus.com monitors visitor traffic patterns by using a method called “click tracking” to log user movement throughout the Site. Unitus.com also automatically receives and records your IP address information in our server log in when you initially register to become part of the Unitus community and each successive time you enter the Site.

6. Privacy Protection for Children

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), children under the age of 13, when permitted to use the Site upon parental consent, should not provide any personal information on this Site. If we later learn that any member under the age of 13 has accessed the Site in violation of this provision, we will take appropriate steps to remove the member's information from the database and we will restrict this individual from future access to the Unitus.com service.

7. Opt Out

Our Site provides users the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications from us. Unsubscribe requests are automatically removed from our email list and we will not contact you again unless you re-sign up for our email services.

8. How to Update Your Personal Information

If you are a registered user of our Solutions Web Services, you may update your contact information and any name changes by logging into your account and clicking "Edit My Profile". 9. Security

We take commercially reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized intrusion to the Site and the loss, misuse or alteration of personal information. We have a firewall which serves as a barrier to unauthorized users to prevent access to our systems. We also try to monitor system and application activity logs to identify any unusual activity, from authorized and/or unauthorized individuals accessing our systems and/or making changes to stored information, for investigation.
